Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport
and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of
Delhi. The city where one can experience the
influence of the many rulers who ruled this region,
a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven
times. The tour includes the magnificent Red Fort,
the Jama Masjid, Asia's largest mosque, Humanyun
Tomb, Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, drive through India
Gate, Presidents House and Connaught Place.
Evening, see Son-et-Lumerie at Red Fort (optional).
Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi
Srinagar (by flight)
Breakfast
at Hotel. Transfer to the domestic airport to catch
a flight to Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar, you
will be met by our representative and transferred
you to the houseboat. Afternoon free for personal
activities. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 4 : Srinagar Local sightseeing (50 kms)
Half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens
visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure)
and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to
houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara
ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God
has graced this city with which is often compared to
Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting
places around the Lake. Overnight at houseboat
Day 05: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Baltal
After
Breakfast drive direct to Baltal via Sonamarg. The
distance of about 115 kms will be covered in about
3½ hrs. Rest of the day free at Baltal for
acclimatization and prepare for next day's trek to
Amarnath Cave.
Dinner overnight in tents at Baltal.
Day 06: Baltal - Amarnath Cave - Baltal
After very early breakfast trek upwards to Amarnath
Cave for darshan. The route is ascending right up to
the cave. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of
Amarnath Stream, which flows, outside the cave.
Inside the cave
there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and
glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol
of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh. After darshan
trek back towards Baltal.
Dinner overnight in tents.
Day 7 : Baltal Sonmarg Srinagar (113 kms drive)
From
Baltal it is 15 kms drive to Sonamrg. Sonmarg (2690
mtrs) which is the most beautiful spot of Kashmir
valley. Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh.
Continue drive to Srinagar, which takes 3 hrs from
Sonmarg. Overnight at houseboat.
Day 8 : Srinagar / Gulmarg
This morning you will proceed for a full day
excursion to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers ( 56 kms /2
hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, (The
valley of Gulmarg, a large meadow about 3-sq-kms in
area, stands at 2,730 metres, 56-km south west of
Srinagar .
The name means 'Meadow Of Flowers' and in the spring
it's just that, a rolling meadow dotted with
countless colourful Bluebells, Daisies, Forget Me
Not's and Buttercups. The valley itself is about
3-km long and up to a km wide.) Full day at leisure
to take the leisurely walks on the lush green
meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow
capped mountains. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride
(rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost,
Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 9
: Gulmarg - Pahalgam
Dri ve
to Pahalgam (5 hours drive). Welcome drink on
arrival and check-in. Rest of the day free at
leisure.
Pahalgam is situated at the junction of the Aru and
Sheshnag Rivers and surrounded by soaring,
fir-covered mountains with bare, snow-capped peaks
rising behind them. The Aru flows down from the
Kolahoi glacier beyond Lidderwat while the Sheshnag
from glaciers along the great Himalayan.
At the confluence of the streams flowing from the
river Lidder and Sheshnag Lake, Pahalgam was once a
humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views.
Now it Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during
the height of summer. A number of hotels and lodges
cater to all preferences and budgets, from luxurious
to unpretentious trekkers' lodges, fully furnished
huts, partially concealed by giant pine trees.
There are many short walks available from Pahalgam
and in addition it is an excellent base for longer
treks such as those to the Kolahoi glacier or to the
Amarnath cave. Pahalgam can also be used as a
starting point for treks out of the region. Pahalgam
is particularly famed for its many shepherds and
they're a common sight, driving their flocks of
sheep along the paths all around the town

Day 10 : Pahalgam -
Srinagar
After Breakfast Back to Srinagar and overnight stay
in Hotel / Houseboat.
Day 11 : Srinagar
Delhi (by air)
Leave after breakfast for Srinagar airport to
connect flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi,
transfer to the hotel for wash 'n' change and
proceed to international airport for connecting
flight to onward destination.
